The Ridgeway Waterproof Metal-Free Hiker is the perfect blend of comfort, durability, and safety for demanding outdoor and industrial work environments. Designed with a rip-stop material upper and embossed Thermo-Plastic Polyurethane (TPU) support, this boot provides superior strength and longevity while maintaining a lightweight and flexible structure. Equipped with a fibre glass composite toe cap offering 200 joules of impact resistance ensuring reliable protection.

Featuring an internal waterproof membrane, this hiker boot keeps your feet dry and comfortable, even in the harshest conditions. The moulded TPU toe guard and heel counter offer extra durability and support, while the non-metallic midsole provides underfoot protection with anti-penetration resistance up to 1100N. The EVA/rubber outsole is designed for optimal slip resistance, with a high-traction cleated pattern for superior grip on wet or uneven surfaces.

The Ridgeway Hiker Boot comes with a removable PU footbed that ensures comfort with arch support, and its smart, speedy fastening lacing system makes getting in and out of the boot quick and easy.

Safety Standards & Certifications

EN ISO 20345:2022 S7S HRO FO SR ESD European safety standard:

• S7S: 200-joule impact and compression-resistant composite toe cap, anti static construction with enegry absorbant heal along with an water resistant upper. Penetration resistant outsole: Average penetration value is not less than 1100N. Tested for general risks with a nail 3mm in diameter (relevant for risks such as sewing needles or hypodermic needles).Water Resistant.
• HRO: Resistance to High Heat 300°c
• FO: Resistance to fuel oil of outsole
• SR:  Tested on a ceramic tile surface with glycerine. The heel & forepart has also been tested, not just the flat.
• ESD - Electro Static Dissipative Footwear: ESD Footwear is designed specifically for the electronic components manufacturing and assembly industries. ESD conforms to EN 61340-5-1.
