What Our New Kornit Atlas Printer Means For Our Customers

In early January, Kornit Digital announced the launch of it’s newest and most innovative printer yet – The Atlas. Kornit Digital is the leading manufacturer of industrial digital printing technologies within the textiles industry. Their range of DTG printers is known to be the market’s leading direct to garment printing technology.

Direct to garment (DTG) printing allows designs to printed directly onto a garment. It works very much like an advanced ink-jet printer however rather than using paper, the design is printed onto a garment such as a cotton t-shirt.

The Launch of The Atlas

The Atlas was revealed at the annual Imprinted Sportswear Show (ISS) in California, which our Founder and Managing Director, Michael Conway and Sam Jones were honoured to attend. At the launch, the new Atlas printer was described as Kornit’s next generation of direct to garment printing.

Just a week after the product launch, our brand new Atlas printer arrived here at Clothes2order. As one of the first companies in the world to have the new printer, we’re really excited to integrate the cutting edge piece of machinery into our high-quality printing department.

The Atlas printer has unmatched productivity with the ability to produce 160 prints each hour. That’s just over 2 prints produced every minute! The speed of the Atlas means it’s excellent for producing high volume orders, for example for large quantities of personalised workwear. The new machine’s productivity matched with our speedy dispatch options such as 24 hour dispatch, enhances our commitment to getting orders to our customers faster than ever before! As we continue to grow and expand, the Atlas will allow for greater capacity within our printing department.

One of the most exciting aspects of the new Atlas printer is the quality of the prints it produces. The revolutionary printer produces the highest retail standard print quality within the direct to garment industry. This means the machine is excellent for fashion brands and merchandise stores as it provides an excellent quality of print.
