Last Friday, a few members of the Clothes2order team took part in “Manchester 3000” organised by recruitment firm Frazer John. The challenge was to climb 3000 ft in scaling the stairwells of 9 of Manchester’s tallest and most iconic buildings as well as a 5 mile run in between buildings.
We took part to help raise money for Big Change Manchester – a charity that helps the homeless build independent lives away from the streets of the city. The Big Change fund supports individuals who are homeless by paying for items they need – a deposit for a home, a training course, clothes for a job interview, furnishing for a new flat, or travel costs.
So far our efforts with Frazer John and friends have raised £2.5k for the Big Change – if you’d still like to donate you can do here.
We were also more than happy to help when Frazer John asked if we could print t shirts to wear for the challenge. They opted for Fruit of the Loom’s New Performance T-Shirt – one of the technical wicking t shirts we offer that are designed draw moisture away from the body during exercise, which proved useful in keeping us cool during the event.  We scaled the CIS Tower, City Tower, Liberty Heights, Manchester One, 111 Piccadilly, One New York Street and many more iconic buildings – see the photos of how we got on below!
